Why this combination exists
Semax and Selank come from the same Russian research tradition and are deliberately complementary. Semax, an ACTH(4-10) analogue, is studied for attention, focus and neuroprotection and is described in the literature as mildly stimulating. Selank, a tuftsin analogue, is studied for anxiolytic effects and stress resilience without sedation. The pairing covers drive and calm at once, which is why it is the classic nootropic stack rather than either compound alone.
Both are short-acting and both are usually administered intranasally in the research, in 10–14 day courses with effects described as building over the course rather than per dose. Timing follows the compounds' character: Semax earlier in the day, Selank whenever the calming effect is wanted, and some referenced protocols alternate the two by day rather than combining them.

Intranasal is the referenced route, so the math is spray-bottle math: 10 mg Semax dissolved in 10 mL of bacteriostatic saline = 1 mg/mL, or 1,000 mcg/mL, and a standard 0.1 mL nasal-spray actuation delivers about 100 mcg — three sprays for a 300 mcg dose. Selank follows the same arithmetic. For the subcutaneous alternative: 10 mg + 2 mL BAC water = 5,000 mcg/mL, so 300 mcg is 0.06 mL — 6 units, which is why the nasal route's larger volumes are easier to measure. Refrigerate both solutions and make nasal dilutions fresh every few weeks.

Why intranasal rather than injection?
The Russian research administered both compounds as nasal drops or sprays, so the referenced doses assume that route. The larger volumes are also far easier to measure than the 6-unit subcutaneous equivalent.
Are Semax and Selank taken at the same time?
Referenced protocols do both: some combine them within the same course, others alternate days so the stimulating and calming effects can be assessed separately. Semax is generally kept to the earlier part of the day.
Why 10–14 day courses?
